A continuation of ENG 205, ENG 206 also offers content-based instruction through a complete revision of academic language skills and of the most common field-specific language conventions covered in the first semester. However, in this course, more focus is placed on productive language skills (particularly speaking) at a higher level through authentic and stimulating tasks which help enhance students’ level of critical thinking skills that will be necessary for them throughout their academic lives.
